§ 5. [Meetings of board of commissioners.]

  • Said board of commissioners shall hold a regular meeting for the transaction of public business pertaining to county matters on the second Thursday in each month of the year unless such day conflicts with a holiday or is otherwise appropriately changed with public notice. Any such meeting shall be held at a specified time in any county or community facility designated in the notice. Said board of commissioners may hold other sessions at any time it deems proper or upon the call of the chairperson. The members of said board of commissioners shall be authorized to administer oaths and hear testimony as to all matters over which they have jurisdiction when meeting to conduct business pertaining to the county.
