§ 39-01. Possession or consumption of alcohol prohibited on rivers in the unincorporated areas of the county upon which commercial boating activity regularly takes place.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to possess or consume any alcoholic beverage on the waters of any river in the unincorporated areas of the county upon which commercial boating activity regularly takes place or within 50 feet of the banks of any such river in the unincorporated areas of the county.

    This shall not apply to the actions of a landowner, the landowner's lessee, or the landowner's or lessee's guests on the landowner's property, if that property is adjacent to such river. It also does not apply to the waters in the county that have been impounded to form Carter's Lake.
