The general commercial district is intended to provide adequate space for a variety
of business uses including offices, retailing, service establishments, entertainment,
and limited storage, assembly and distributions facilities. Generally, such activities
are oriented to major streets or at the intersection of major and minor streets, where
both traffic and visibility is maximized. Such activities are generally considered
less intensive than industrial activities.
