This article shall be applicable to all land, present and future, and development
located in the unincorporated area of Gilmer County, Georgia. This is an ordinance
of Gilmer County, Georgia, regulating the location, height, bulk and size of buildings
and other structures; the use of buildings, structures, and land for business, industry,
residence, public activities and other purposes; and for dividing the unincorporated
area into districts for such purposes and establishing boundaries therefore; providing
for a board of land use appeals, defining its power and duties; the method of administration,
amendment and enforcement; prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions;
repealing conflicting resolutions; and other matters.
