§ 46-61. Scope.

This article shall apply to all landfills and waste disposal systems and related activities whether in operation now or in the future that are located within the boundaries of the county. Land owned in fee simple by the county and used exclusively as a landfill and waste disposal system and operated solely for the benefit of taxpayers, residents and businesses operated in the county is exempt from the requirements of this article.
