§ 46-102. Purposes.

The purposes of this article are as follows:
(1)

Provide environmentally sound, cost efficient refuse disposal in accordance with the state department of natural resources, environmental protection division rules and regulations (Solid Waste Management Act Chapter 391-3-4).

(2)

Provide safe operation of the facility (county landfill).

(3)

Secure data for disposal planning of the county as part of a solid waste management plan.
